Hi! We’re Ellie, Louie B(eagle) and Chester Solomon, the spokesdogs for Political Party Pets.

Lots of people ask our mom, Lisa, how she got the idea to start Political Party Pets. Well, this is how it happened:

One day in September 2007, mom and dad were talking about politics with our biped-siblings, Max and Zoe. Max—who’s five years old—said “democats” instead of “democrats.” “Repuppycans” immediately popped into Mom’s mind, with “Republikittens” and “Doggie Democrats” not far behind.

Mom knows how much people love their pets and treat them as members of the family. She figured that, since people have—and frequently express—opinions about what party they support in the upcoming presidential election, pets should be able to express their opinions, too. Political Party Pets was born!
